Hi. My name is Kyle Bruce Leighton and I’m passionate about photography. Whether it’s headshots, property, family photos, a party, or other event: I’ll work with you to discuss what your needs are so that we can co-create the best photos possible that are aligned with your vision.
Photography is my creative expression. I desire to capture the beauty I see in the world for all to witness. From a laughing child, to a flower, to a plate of food, to a sunrise. From your serious gaze to your lighthearted laugh. I take my time curating the lighting and color, depth and focus, both on set and in the editing of my photos to bring out the best in my subjects.
My Story
Welcome to my world of photography, where the harmonious union of nature's splendor and the human experience drive my unwavering passion. Since an early age, I have been irresistibly drawn to the enchanting marvels of the natural world, discovering solace and boundless inspiration within its embrace. This profound kinship with nature soothes my soul while igniting the flames of my artistic ingenuity. However, it is the transformative power of human connection that exhilarates my very being. Witnessing the raw emotions on display and intuitively comprehending the depths of their feelings through a mere expression invigorates my spirit. From the radiance of a joy-filled smile to the unwavering determination in a moment of intense focus, my purpose truly crystallizes as I capture these dramatic moments through the lens.
Driven by a strong desire to share the beauty I witness, I embarked on a journey to showcase the magic of nature to the world. However, I soon realized that my trusty iPhone was incapable of capturing the true essence of what I beheld. Determined to answer this calling, I sought guidance from a friend, who recommended a used Sony a7R. Serendipitously, on the very same day, another friend casually mentioned his Sony a7R-iii, available for purchase.
Feeling the stars align, I wholeheartedly embraced this opportunity. With my camera in hand, I ventured into the vast world, initially focused on capturing the raw beauty of nature. Yet, over time, my perspective expanded, allowing me to uncover hidden beauty in the smallest details and the unlikeliest of places. My passion evolved to illuminate the light within everything and everyone, skillfully crafting each shot with the perfect angle, focus and lighting before putting in the final touches in the editing room to bring it back to life.
